My employer has a pharmacy on site, and I get my prescriptions sent there from my doctor. I’ve worked at my current job for over 5 years, so I know most of the employees in most of the departments. If one of my coworkers who works behind the counter at the pharmacy is discussing my medications with another employee from the pharmacy in the break room, is that a violation of HIPAA laws here in California?
