I have been banking with Chase for over 6 years plus and I just recently had an incident where my safety deposit box was compromised. Back when Chase was considered Washington Mutal each box is numbered and sized differently. But when Chase took over they changed only some of the box numbers while also keeping some of the old WAMU numbers. Apparently someone needed to get into their box but lost their keys and had to get the box drilled to get new keys. Due to the numbers not changing and negligence on looking at the name for the particular box they were drilling they just assumed since the box numbers were the same that it was the correct box. The person who then got into my box after drilling did not say anything to the bankers that it wasn’t his stuff and took all my things equaling up to 80k. Where can I find the right lawyer who will help me with further action?
